Printed on verso: "Published by Mary's Gift Shop, Inlet, N.Y." According to the Inlet Historical Society, the Arrowhead was originally Hess' Inn, which was built in 1893. The owner, Fred Hess, then sold the property to William Moshier in 1986, who renamed it "The Arrowhead." The building was then bought by Charles O'Hara in 1907 and burned down in 1913. The Albertype Company was founded by Adolph and Herman L. Wittemann in 1890 and operated until 1952 (Source: Historical Society of Pennsylvania). |
