Description |
Lithograph, hand colored: depicts fishermen showing his catch to a woman and children. In the center a man stands holding a large fish in his right hand and a basket containing fish in his left. Another man sits in a chair to the left of the first man, pointing to a basket of fish on the floor and to the young boy who is kneeling and removing the fish from the basket. A little girl at the feet of the standing man points also to the fish. At the right sits a woman looking at the man holding up the fish. They seem to be either on a porch or in a summer house with roses to the left and right sides. In the background is a river or lake and wooded hills. |
