Halftone color postcard with a divided back. View of the fountain at Weed's park. Printed on verso: "WEED'S PARK, SHOWING MOUTH OF SARANAC RIVER. Weed's park is a private park owned by Honorable Smith M. Reed, and is situated directly across the road from his residence, at the mouth of the Saranac River. From here there is a splendid view of Cumberland Bay, where the Battle of Plattsburgh was fought on September 11th, 1814." |
