Lithograph, hand colored: Depicts a rural snow scene. A log cabin in the center. In the right foreground: woman and child feeding chickens, a green barrel and log pile. In the center of the picture is a man and boy with horse returning home, across the horse is a dead buck. To the left of the horse stands a boy in what appears to be a frozen pond. His arms are raised and he seems to be greeting the others returning. Woods and small hills in the background. |
