Description |
Albumen print mounted on card with red border. Hand printed recto in border at lower left. "1421." The photo is of the steamboat Maquam at a landing with a long line of people, presumably waiting to board. Several small boats are seen on the shore including rowboats, sailboats, canoes and guideboats. In the lower right corner of the photo a couple of adults and at least four children can be seen sitting under a tree watching the event. Exact location is unknown. |
