Description |
Albumen print, black and white, mounted to dark green board. Image of the interior of a large sugar house with metal walls and marble or stone floor. View of four maple syrup evaporators from the back. Metal arches sit on brick foundations, with sheet metal smoke stacks coming from the back. Evaporator pans on the arches with a scoop resting on the one inf foreground. Sap collecting buckets scattered. Electric lights hanging from celing, windows at far end of long room.
