Writing on the back (by Henry Geer Rogers in 1975) reads: "Left to right - Masonic Building, built 1914. Not / hurt by fire in 1925. Sawmill destroyed, present (1975) / site of movie theater. J+J Rogers Co. ('The Supply Store') Store / Company office (later bank) vault, unhurt by fire. / Au Sable Forks Branch of N.C B+T Co now on this site / MacKenzie Watchmaker, later telephone switchboard area. / 'Zim' Nichols' Barber Shop, and just off picture, Garso's Store." |
