Gelatin silver contact print made from the original negative. The only identification is the sign on the window in the addition of the house on the left reading "Dr. B.G. Streeter / Office. Part of a building, probably a church is on the left and to the right of the house is a street with a horse and carriage approaching. Note the stone slab in front of the house for dismounting or stepping our of a carriage. See notes. |

Dr. B.G. Streeter lived in Glens Falls and was at one time President of the County Medical Society and delegate to the state society. In 1871, a directory of Glens Falls and Queensbury list him as Physician, Maple Street. He served in the Civil War after which he went to Glens Falls to continue his medical work.
