Roe / Residence: Supt. of Port Henry Iron Ore Co. / Before / 1900 / Mineville, N.Y. / 1984 / Presently this former / Home is a Parish Hall / Before that it was the V.F.W. / but the V.F.W. moved to Memorial Hall" and diagnonally: "During W.W.II / Barracks type housing / was built just above this / house & back in ifeld. The / house became a restaurant / barracks were torn down after / war. Upper drive, of now Parish / Center, led back to the barracks." |
