Black photo album, owned by Robert Gillespie. He and Harvey Dunham owned Camp Segoolie, the album is a record of their camping and hunting trips in the Stillwater area with photos and text. Dedication page, "This book is the property of Bob Gillespie. The pictures herein were made mostly by myself or friends. In the making of this book, I have had much pleasure. Every picture means something to me. If my friends are interested in this book, I am glad of it and if they are fortunate enough to be able to go to the woods, I would like to have them go to the same places that I have been and then we will have something in common. I know of no better way to spend a vacation than to go up in to God's country. The Wilders and the rest of the people who live up in this country are like most people who live close to nature, they are as true as nature herself." |
