Notes |
A visitor suggested this previously unidentified structure may be the boathouse from Camp Solitude. After comparing it to other photos of the camp, it is unclear if it indeed may be Camp Solitude, but it is not out of the question. The architectural elements all seem to match up, including placement of diamond pane windows, the open bays, porch height, etc. However, in later photos the open gable with twigwork seen in this photo is enclosed. That may reflect an adaption of the original decoration, or it may be a different, albeit similar, building altogether. |
