Summary |
Recto reads: "A regular Wild West hold-up in the peaceful Adirondacks. A daring daylight robbery. The stage that runs from North Creek to Blue Mountain Lake was stopped by masked men and 1000 dollars was carried off by the highwaymen and a coach load of passengers were frightened half to death. The Saturday Globe of (this week) Aug. 24 will have the only authentic account, full of detail and embellished with a number of realistic engravings made by our editor-artist, Mr. Bert Howell, who was sent from the home office to report the crime. Order a copy of the Globe Agent." |
