Informal lecture from Frank Pabst, member of Lake Champlain's Wreck Raiders diving crew, on the subject of skin- and scuba diving in North Country lakes, including Lake Champlain and Lake Placid, both for retrieval of archaelogical artifacts and also as a search-and-recovery method for water fatalities. Pabst also describes the recovery of the body of Mabel Smith Douglass in Lake Placid in 1963. Part of the Essex Community Heritage Organization (ECHO) oral history project. |
