Solomon and Rhoda Clark lived in Willsboro, NY, where Solomon worked as a stone cutter, according to census records. The donor indicated that the diaries transcribed here are just a small portion of the journals kept by Solomon and Rhoda. Solomon was born in 1824 and kept diaries from 1849 to his death in 1895. Rhoda's maiden name was Adsit and she was born in 1824. She kept a diary from 1851 until her death in 1902. |
