Wilson is interviewed by his daughter and talks about life in the hamlet of Redford in Clinton County and in Lake Placid in the early 1900s. Wilson was born during the large forest fire of 1903. He talks about his parents' and grandparents' working at a lumber camp operated by Fred Johnson, a jobber for J & J Rogers Co. Later his family lived on the Charles Green farm near Lake Placid. He eventually worked at the Stevens House in Lake Placid. |
