Scope & Content |
This sketchboard shows the Storytown USA theme park in Queensbury, NY. Storytown USA was the original name of Six Flags Great Escape and Hurricane Harbor theme park. The park was created and owned by Charley Wood, who hired artist and theme park designer Arto Monaco to design portions of Storytown USA. It is difficult to know when this board was originally created, but we can see that it was updated up until around 1998, the year that the Alpine Bobsled rollercoaster opened at the park. Revisions to the park's layout are pasted onto the board in layers. |
