Notes The Wood & Bishop Company, Bangor ME:
THE FOLD DOOR FRANKLIN IS the plain old - fashioned Franklin, much esteemed for its ANTIQUITY OF DESIGN. The folding doors hinge back against the sides, out of the way. These stoves are adapted for wood only. They are always furnished with firedogs as shown in cut unless wood grate is specified instead.

OUR FRANKLIN STOVES afford the full view of an open fire and therefore make satisfactory substitutes for open fireplaces, at far less cost for installation. At the same time they give much more heat owing to the radiation from the sides, top and back as well as from the front. The wide hearths, the liberal fuel capacity and the general air of good cheer offered by these excellent stoves is brightening many a dark day in camp, cottage, city sitting room and den throughout the length and breadth of the land. These stoves can be shipped in safety to even the most distant points and as they are· unlike anything else the market affords, we have frequent orders from remote parts of the country. We are in readiness to accept orders for any size and style for immediate forwarding.
