Description "Drag Tongs" made by Gifford-Wood Co. (see Notes), used for moving ice. Originglly painted red, some paint left. Hollow oval handles on very long arms; bows riveted together with one bolt. Points angle inward and up. "Gifford-Wood Co." stamped on bow, no numbers. According to accession form, some of the tools were used on Raquette Lake. Probably also used on Little Tupper Lake. Also called Stowing Tongs.
