Description Canadian style broad axe. Used to for squaring logs and for squaring structural timbers of all kinds. Iron blade. Maker's marks on the side of the poll "A.G. Peck, Cohoes NY". Pointed lugs on the top and bottom of the head. Curved shoulders on the top and bottom of the blade. Curved cutting edge beveled on one side. Varnished straight wooden handle. Handle is bent to one side away from the beveled edge to protect the user's fingers.
