Cooper's adz, hand forged metal head with wooden handle, used for both cutting and pounding. The long, curved head has a rectangular pounding poll on one end and a concave cutting bit on the other end. It has a short, straight wooden handle. Seven nails have been pounded in as wedges to hold the head onto the handle.
