Description Crade with stand. Made from walnut. Constructed with mortise and tennon joints and pegs. Finshed with oil varnish.
a: Cradle. Turned posts in each corner. Rails along top and bottomof all four sides with molded rails on top of each side. Curved vertical slides running between the rails on all four sides. 3 loose slats run along the bottom. Metal yoke on either end attaches to hooks on posts of the stand. Tabs on either side bump against braket on bottom rail of stand to keep the cradle from rocking too far. b: Stand: Posts on each end, turned along front and back edges, flat on sides. Hooks on each post to hold cradle. Hook is on the inside of one post to attach to a cradle to keep it from rocking. Molded base for each post. Board runs between each post. Metal bracket on top center of board works with metal tabs on the cradle to keep it from tipping too far.
