Description Large, black, animal-shaped fur rug, probably black bear, with black/gray wool felt backing. A burlap lining is visible through tears in the hide. Rivets are seen on the verso. Two large loops are sewn to the verso near the hind feet (the widest part of the rug). Label sewn on verso at hind end, center, says "The Crosby Frisian/ Fur Co./ Rochester, NY"
