Description D.R. Barton & Co. molding plane. This plane was used to do the final finishing and smoothing on the surface of the wood. Wooden body. Body has convex sides. Corners on back are rounded. Wood unscrolled wedge. Steel cutter. Prior marks on cutter: "D.R. Baton & Co. Rochester, N.Y.". Prior marks on end: "Rochester, NY" and owner's mark "J. Donarty".
