Mathias Oppersdorff (1936-2010) photographed people throughout the Adirondack Park in 1986 and 1987 as part of a project called Adirondack Faces which was sponsored by the Adirondack Museum. It resulted in an exhibition and publication of 53 of the subjects photographed.
