Pestle probably used for pounding corn. Handmade round wooden club is narrow in the center and slightly rounded at the ends. Note on original catalog card: "Donor is the great-granddaughter of Sabael Benedict. She is an Indian and presumably this club was used by her family"

Basket with lid, both made from woven splint (likely ash). Rectangular with slightly rounded corners. Stamped with a red pattern on alternate splints. Splint handle on each end. Catalog card says: Background information unknown. Unidentified Native American maker, Saratoga County, NY

Egg Basket, split willow frame and weave. Native American woven, light brownish-yellow in color. Materials were identified by c. 1985 by Bill Smith, basketmaker, of Colton NY.

Whitish-colored natural pebble, water-worn round. Quartz-like with graphite inclusions, suggesting Granville formation as origin. Found at Camp Sabael, Indian Lake. Donor indicated: "Possibly collected by an Indian."

Very worn small rock, heavy for its size but not magnetic. High points are worn smooth. Low areas have red-orange accretion similar to rust. Found at Camp Sabael, Indian Lake.
